Their premature utterances --like 'early figs'--
Before the fruit of Divine knowledge is ripe,⁽¹⁾
Are like rancid ointments spoilt by flies,⁽²⁾
Preventing proper use, at proper times.⁽³⁾

--Are satan's men, who enlist jealous natures to
Prominence, to increase worshippers of them.
Did trample men of the holy 'seed' ⁽⁴⁾ with lies and
Hostilities. Men masquerading as His witnesses.

Among the congregation they claim their 'seat' ⁽⁵⁾
As a god. Anointing, trying to mislead His sons?⁽⁶⁾
Proclaimed: 'The Day of the Lord is already here!'⁽⁷⁾
While under an 'operation of error' from God.⁽⁸⁾

Their presence is with 'every powerful work and
Lying signs and portents', 'for those who are perishing';⁽⁹⁾
For not having a love of the truth, and for choosing
Unrighteousness. They are now revealed.⁽¹⁰⁾

Understood His holiness, but were for 'a change',⁽¹¹⁾
Preferring vainglory to humility.
Deceiving others with their error.
Anointed servants --their restraint-- they removed.⁽¹²⁾
