The Lord "dulled the sensibilities" of Jews,
To gather His chosen from among Gentiles.
They have been enemies of the "good news",
Yet, "loved for the sake of their forefather's" wiles.

God shut them up in disobedience, that He
Might show them all mercy by grafting them back,
Into the tree of knowledge, and a love for Christ,
To lament him, unlike their Ancients' stubborn lack.

There's no evidence of mourning the firstborn's death,
Or a "well" for the house of David -- not yet.
But my vision of grafting them back may indicate,
Their dry "well" for washing away sin, is becoming wet.
