"MIGHTY ANGEL" STOOD ON THE LAND IN THE SEAWhy? Because: "The rest of mankind who survived these plagues (described in the Revelation and occurring within those countries now overwhelmed by deaths arising from huge tidal waves) still did not abjure* the gods their hands had fashioned, nor cease their worship of devils and of idols made from gold, silver, bronze, stone, and wood, which cannot see or hear or walk. Nor did they repent of their murders, their sorcery, their fornication, or their robberies." (See Rev 9:20,21 NEB). This is certainly a warning to all nations.
To this date, 1st January 2005, the death toll caused by the mighty angel's feet on both the land and in the sea that occurred on the 26th December 2004 is 125,000 and rising.
The Opened "Little Scroll" described in Revelation 10:8-11 was concluded around the 6th April 1996. It began to be opened, written up, and made known publicly from the 14th December 1976.
The Christ Michael is the "mighty angel" who has again come like a "thief" (Rev 16:15) to rob members of families, friends, and relatives, of their very lives. He showed this by the power he has over nature when he put one foot (symbolically speaking) on the land under the Indian Ocean (the sea bed) and the other on the coastal regions of the surrounding countries now destroyed by the massive undersea earthquake and resulting huge tidal wave (tsunami) he created. (Rev 10:1-3).
As the purpose of God for mankind made known through His prophets is now "brought to a finish" as indicated by the fulfilment of the recent actions of the "mighty angel", it means "there will be no delay any longer" in regard to the saving of any more people living on earth to reconcile them to the worship of Almighty God. (Rev 10:6). The accurate translation and meaning of Revelation 10:6 is "that time not yet will be" (Greek Interlinear Translation), and refers to the time for the commencement of the Rule of God.
