"TRAMPLING" ON THE SONS OF GOD.

THE MEANING OF THE ABOVE PAINTING.

The final "trampling" (1) (Rev 11:2) of the holy sons of God by apostates and other enemy persecutors, as portrayed in this painting, greatly increased in Christ's congregations during the "appointed times of the nations" (2) when the restraint of his holy ones against wickedness was removed. It was then that these enemy apostates usurped The Christ's anointed congregations worldwide. These enemies are the ones referred to in 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 NWT as the mysterious "man of lawlessness". The holy ones were then forced to prophesy in a spiritually uncultivated worldly environment, dressed in "sackcloth" (from a deathlike condition).

THE VEILS:
These are symbolic and are from "women"; whom God prophesied against, and who are still today the prostituting "harlot" religions "putting veils over the heads of persons of every age". (Read Ezek 13:17,18 NEB). As it was in the beginning, so it is still today, the serpent (satan) is more able to deceive womankind.

The apostle Paul, to whom the Lord gave his authority to help the nations towards gaining salvation, referred to stubborn unbelievers as "those on the way to perdition" and are veiled. (2 Cor 4:3,4).

THE WOMAN IN THE BARREL CARRIED
TO THE LAND OF SHINAR (BABYLON) (Zech 5:9-11):
The "woman" symbolises wickedness, and represents the "mother" of many religious harlot" daughters of "Babylon the great". (See Rev 17:1-6). These religious sects practise her many kinds of false worship worldwide, which began within Babylon/Iraq centuries ago, and continues to the present day. God is now remembering and desolating "Babylon" using His enemy the "eighth (political) king" to carry it out. (Rev 16:19. 17:9-18).

THE CROWNED HOLY ONE WITH THE BOOK OF LIFE BEFORE HIM:
He is the one who subjected the Sons of God, and is portrayed as receiving and rewarding his anointed brothers. He is called Michael (The Christ's heavenly name, which means: 'Who is like God').

THE EXPLANATION OF (1) & (2) FROM EPHESIANS 1:10:
The increased "trampling" on the authority of God's anointed ones on earth during this present "time of the end" of the present systems of this "darkness" was allowed by God for a purpose. It became effective during the period of the fulfilment of the "2,300 evenings and mornings" described in Daniel 8:13,14 and Revelation 11:3. The period of 3½ years or 1,260 days began around 1971. The "appointed times of the nations"* ended in 1982. These "times" were allowed for the revealing of those who would apostatise themselves because they would "not accept the love of the truth", and was revealed by the holy ones whom they had removed. (2 Thess 2:10-12 NEB).

The "Flying Scroll" of Zechariah 5:1-4 of the past is today called The Opened "Little Scroll" of Revelation 10:8-11, that the Lord uses to measure those stealing according to it and those spiritually "trampling" on the Holy Spirit; evident by their apostate behaviour. The "Little Scroll" is used as his measurements and instrument to refine out and abandon contemptuous ones. Denunciations (advanced warnings) were, and are still, being sent over land against enemies of God.
