The sole purpose of human life is to become a new spirit creation. When Christ said: "I am the way and the truth and the life", he meant that his is "The Way" by which human spirits may gain everlasting life.  (John 14:6). He also gave the illustration of the ten  "virgins", warning that even Spirit anointed brothers of The Christ must not go to sleep in their faith, but must stay awake during the "time of the end" of this "darkness". (Matt 25:1-13). Now is a time when people need the spiritual "light" of heavenly knowledge, that they may see their way into the wedding reception of the "bride" class of 144,000 priests of God and The Christ Michael the "bridegroom".  (Rev 7:4 & 19:6-9).

The Lord Jesus indicated that half of those called to the Kingdom of God will approach those with Spirit "oil" in their lamps (their spirits) and ask to share some of their "oil"  that they too might see their way into the heavenly Kingdom. But at that late hour those who are faithful will have only just enough Spirit "oil" themselves. The possessors of this "oil" are those that have proven obedient to the last of the heavenly instructions from our Lord contained in The Opened "Little Scroll". (Rev 10:1-11).  The failed "virgins" without the necessary Spirit "oil" are half the total of those called to the Kingdom of God during the "time of the end". They are the ones who through apostasy did "trample" and "beat" the "least" of The Christ's anointed brothers and ignored his Spirit instructions in the "Little Scroll".  (Matt 24:48-51)  (Matt 25:44,45).
