Before Michael Rules With An "Iron Rod".
(Rev 19:15 NEB).

2 Esdras 9:14,15. According to an angel of God:

"The lost [will] outnumber the saved
as a wave exceeds a drop of water".
(1)
Because this world was for the sake of the just. (2)

So before the new, there is to be a great slaughter.

Scriptures like these, contemptuous men decided to omit,
with the rest of the apocrypha, as part of bible canon.
(3)
Although its few scribal errors they could have corrected,
this Divinely inspired word they choose to abandon.

The Lord has measured (4) those of his spiritual house
by their self-sacrificing righteous words and deeds.
But in his new world he will shepherd out disobedience
anew, with a discipline likened to iron, not with reeds.

In a world where: whoever falls short of a hundred years
before he dies, shall be despised.
(5)
Where: "They shall not hurt or destroy in all my holy mountain,
    says the Lord."
(6) Where: his guiding rod will be realized.
