THE CHRIST JESUS DIED ON A STAKE,
NOT ON A CROSS.

The above illustration exposes some of the self-glorifying evil trappings that church leaders use to trap gullible ones into believing that they must have authority from God to represent Him on earth and to educate people in spiritual matters; irrespective of whether or not they have the scriptural qualifications. (1 Tim 3:1-6).

Besides many other descriptions, the Lord in his Word refers to church leaders in the following ways:

(1) They "ape outlandish fashions" (Zephaniah 1:8,9 NEB).
(2) They dress like women, "in silver and in gold and in purple". (Enoch XCVIII).

A STAKE, NOT A CROSS.
(1) There is no scriptural proof that our Lord died on a crossbeam attached to a       stake.
(2) The "torture stake" is from the Latin Crux Sim'plex. (Matthew 27:40. 16:24).
(3) The koin'e Greek word Stau'ros is a verb meaning to fence with pales.
     Christ was impaled.

QUESTION:
If say, a member of your family or a friend you loved was tortured, and then crucified to death, would you want to be constantly reminded of his or her brutal death by seeing many people wearing a symbolic ornament around their necks to remind you of his or her physical sufferings?

All who wear a cross will tell you that they wear it because they believe in Christ. If you were to ask them if they carry out the Will of the Father through Christ, in almost all cases they do not understand how. So really, they are hypocrites, veiled in ignorance. Whatever, they are offending all true followers of the Christ Jesus.
