THE DESTRUCTIVE CLASS SYSTEM.

This clever representative painting by Edward Hopper reveals the destructive divisory class system that exists in the affluent nations of the western world; of people who prefer to be identified as belonging to a higher class or social strata. Firstly by means of their outward appearance, in the clothes and jewelry they wear (or some other insignia of authority, as represented by the man with epaulets), and secondly by their occupation, possessions, whom they associate with, their intellect, interests, financial standing, and condescending language.

The woman standing looks down on the seated clown, and shows a haughty indignance towards him (or her) for exposing the folly of her own excessive cosmetic make-up.

All the people in the painting have deliberately been shown as hiding their true selves behind masklike faces, and are divided off from the lower class man in the peaked cap by a vertical white band. The artist shown with his back to the man of lower class, is attempting to belong to both groups or classes.

THE IMMINENT RIGHTEOUS PRINCIPLE OF GOD REGARDING HIGH ONES:
"This is what the Lord Jehovah has said… Put on high even what is low, and bring low even the high one. A ruin, a ruin, a ruin I shall make it. As for this also, it will certainly become no one's until he comes who has the legal right, and I must give it to him." (From Ezekiel 21:26,27 NWT). This principle is one of equality that will exist among all mankind, and which at present is hated by highly exalted ones.
