Foreword.
For the most part, 'An Anthology of Spiritual Poems' are spiritual verses, didactic in nature, intended to arouse readers to spiritual awareness. The source of its material is the now opened
"Little Scroll"; the details of which had been hidden, throughout many generations, until now. The apostle John made only brief mention of the "Little Scroll", and it has been kept secret until the appointed time, during the last days of the present systems. (See the Revelation to John, Chapter 10). It is now openly revealed, and presented in more than 700 pages, written up since 1976. This testimony referred to as the "Little Scroll" can now be seen on the website:I am of the opinion that adults have never been in need of, nor are they able to benefit from, poetic literature that is meant to be comfy, mediocre, or familiar -- 'the same old stuff on the same old menu'; as are the ear-tickling sermons that benefit no one.
In contrast, accurate writings that teach for the benefit of spirit growth toward gaining eternal life are a wholesome treasure. But if they do not, it can only be for the reason made clear by the apostle James: "For if anyone is a hearer of the word, and not a doer, this one is like a man looking at his natural face in a mirror. For he looks at himself, and off he goes and immediately forgets what sort of man he is." (James 1:23,24. NWT).
Whereas, writings intended to be difficult to understand to exhibit some obscure meaning or so-called wisdom, are a waste of mental energy when they cannot be reasonably explained.
'An Anthology of Spiritual Poems' also contains secular poems of lesser importance as to spiritual benefit, but may give some pleasure to those readers who have not been able to appreciate spiritual verse before, and who may, it is hoped, begin to meditate on some of the all-important corrective language contained in the spiritual section.
WHY THE NEW WORLD TRANSLATION OF THE HOLY SCRIPTURES
HAS BEEN USED IN 'AN ANTHOLOGY OF SPIRITUAL POEMS'.
The New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures has mainly been used for two very important reasons. That although this particular translation is the only one used by the unGodly sect falsely calling themselves Jehovah's Witnesses --whose wickedness the Lord is now revealing-- the translators of it were not of their sect. It was compiled by Westcott and Hort, and is an accurate rendering. However, within the pages of the myriad of other books compiled and printed solely by JWs, there are their "lying signs and portents" fulfilling the prophecy of 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12. But while this sect misuses this translation in their books to change the "times and law" of God, we use that same translation to overturn their false reasonings and the "lofty things" contained in their books "raised up against the knowledge of God". (2 Cor 10:4,5). They have fulfilled in every detail the evil work of the composite "man of lawlessness" described in 2 Thessalonians chapter 2. Their final evil work of usurping the authority and removing the members of The Christ's congregation by 'shifting' such responsibilities to unsealed men will no longer be a mystery to anyone. They are the ones the Lord will do away with.
