Lord, I Know Why the Nations
Will Vent
Their Anger
When You Begin Your Rule.
Lovers of true justice from heaven will rejoice,
Living within Your purity, loved and appreciated.
But those fleeing justice hate being nakedly exposed, (1)
Publicly, in Your Light of Truth, they feel humiliated.
Your Spirit of Justice poured out "upon the air", (2)
Administered through heavenly angels You delegate,
After wickedness on earth is fully grown,
(3)
When righteousness on earth You activate. (4)
From the wrath of God we must solemnly learn,
Not by the wrath of men (and wisely differentiate).
His righteous indignation upon their evil deeds, (5)
And their evil plottings that Godless men initiate.
In a Spirit of righteousness holy ones are
bathed,
But drowned are those irreconcilable to God, (6)
A solemn warning to Godless dispositions,
A "wasting disease" (6)
upon the crowd of Gog. (7)
Foolish to neglect one's spiritual
obligations to God,
When subjected spirits are eternally resurrected. (8)
