HAS YOUR "VEIL"* BEEN REMOVED?
IF NOT, TURN TO JEHOVAH, AND HE
WILL THEN REMOVE IT FOR YOU.

"And if indeed our gospel be found veiled, the only people who find it so are those on the way to perdition. Their unbelieving minds are so blinded by the god of this passing age, that the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the very image of God, cannot dawn upon them and bring them light. It is not ourselves that we proclaim; we proclaim Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your servants, for Jesus' sake. For the same God who said, 'Out of darkness let light shine', has caused His light to shine within us, to give the light of revelation the revelation of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ." (2 Cor 4:3-6 NEB).

We all begin under a "veil" of spirit ignorance. But sadly, many claim to have experienced a "new (spirit) birth" while continuing to live according to "the god of this passing age". (1 Peter 1:3. 2 Cor 4:3,4 NEB). Some believe that the "Way" of Christ is to go to church and listen to pulpit sermons. (John 14:6). But The Lord said the Kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power. (1 Cor 4:20,21 NEB) (Luke 17:21).

The secret is to become wholesouled in carrying out the Will of God, to turn to Jehovah so that the "veil" of ignorance may be taken away. (* 2 Cor 3:16-18 NEB. Rom 12:1,2). Then one receives the power of spiritual knowledge and love, and goes on to bear fruitage of the spirit. (Gal 5:22,23).

UNACCEPTABLE EXAMPLES.
Giving one's allegiance to politicians by voting for them, does not accord with the Will of God, nor is acceptance of the apostate teachings of sectarian misleaders. Nor is celebrating Godless festivals, or worshipping human "dungy idols" such as sports stars, pop idols, film stars, etc. Nor is "love of money". (2 Tim 3:2). All these evil activities bar the way to Jehovah, such that many end up with "a form of Godly devotion but proving false to its power". (2 Tim 3:5).

After one's spirit "birth" as a "babe" in Christ, spiritual growth then follows, toward maturity; as The Christ subjects us by spirit correction "here a little, there a little" until we are formed into a complete spirit body. (1 Cor 15:24-28. Isaiah 28:9-11). The Christ does this as it pleases God. Subjected ones are then given the reward of everlasting spirit life in the heavenly realm of God. With this in view, we are advised to store up "treasures in heaven" while we live on earth. (Matt 6:19,20).

The Opened "Little Scroll" contains knowledge of "The Way" of The Christ and the countermeasures against "every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God". (Rev 10:8-11. 2 Cor 10:5 NWT). Unless the "veil" of one's spirit ignorance is removed, the Holy Scriptures of God will not be properly understood, nor "The Way" attained; and is a consequence of having chosen to live a meaningless Godless life.
