. THE PROPHESIED FALL OF "BABYLON". Now that we are approaching the end of the present systems of things, what is of the utmost importance is the next event in fulfilment of the Will of Almighty God our Creator. "Babylon the great" is about to be "remembered" by our Heavenly Father Jehovah and will be given "the cup of the wine of the anger of His wrath." (1) This will occur at the outpouring of the seventh symbolic "bowl" of the anger of God "upon the air" (2) both in the literal and spiritual sense. Until now, the Godless spirit of mankind has been wilfully disposed to appoint rulers to carry out their will, to realize the life they desire, in total disregard of their Creator's Will. But at the outpouring of the last of the seven "bowls" of His anger, the Sovereign Rule of God will begin, finalizing His creation of a "new heavens and a new earth." (3) The long-awaited outpouring of the Spirit of God "upon the air" will be felt in the spirits of everyone, and in the very air we breathe! This Spirit of His Judgement is the means by which everyone will be judged, and those living a life contemptuous of God will be exposed as enemies of God and His righteousness. The evil spirit of the "image of the wild beast" now permeating the air (4) will be replaced by the Spirit of God. The Spirit of His Judgement will arouse great anger in the spirits of those contemptuous of Him. As for the righteous, they are destined to inherit everlasting life. (Rev 11:15-18). It is important to note that the command of God addressed to all mankind directs every human soul in spiritistic "Babylon" to get out of "her" or share in her sins and condemnation. For stubbornly rebellious spirits refusing to "Get out of her" it will mean death, and will continue until "Babylon" is emptied and the smoke from her desolation goes on ascending forever. (5) As for Babylon/Iraq, it too is destined to be forever uninhabited. In anticipation of this, at this time of writing the smoke from her warring and the burning of her oil fields continues to ascend since the day of her fall at the hands of allied forces. Even though Western powers are anxious to see Iraq adopt demoncratically elected political rule, the "king of Babylon" satan senses that the power of his evil influence is waning. Even now, with reference to the Iraq war, the outlook of trading nations of the world has been: "'Too bad, too bad, you great city, Babylon you strong city, because in one hour your Judgement has arrived!'" (Rev 18:10). The abyssing of satan the "king of Babylon" will cause great agitation in She'ol (the grave of all "goatlike" leaders of mankind): "Even She'ol underneath has become agitated at you in order to meet you on coming in. At you it has awakened those impotent in death, all the goatlike leaders of the earth. It has made all the kings of the nations get up from their thrones. All of them speak up and say to you, 'Have you yourself also been made weak like us? Is it to us that you have been made comparable?" (Isaiah 14:9,10).
A "NEW EARTH" WILL FOLLOW THE
NEW SPIRIT HEAVENS. Everlasting peace can only begin when the evil influence of satan and his demon forces are eradicated from the invisible spirit heavens. This cleansing of the heavens will be followed by the establishment of the heavenly Kingdom of 144,000 anointed priests of God (7) who have been gathered to rule with their leader The Christ Michael from the heavenly Temple over the remaining numberless "great crowd" on earth. (8) From the heavens the holy fruitage of the Spirit will be administered (9) as to the "good deed". (10) When sectarian "Babylon" has been burned by the Spirit "fire" of the Lord's Judgement, when Babylon/Iraq has been destroyed and commercial "Babylon" has been dismantled, (11) when all members of the political "image of the wild beast" and the "false prophet" have been abyssed, (12) only then shall the "Way of Holiness" appear by which faithful servants of Jehovah redeemed by Him will return to Zion with a joyful cry.
