THE "MAN OF LAWLESSNESS".
(2 Thessalonians 2:3 NWT).

Only God's chosen perceived their evil cunning,
When the time arrived for them to be revealed:
Of those who put "leaven" among the "sheep",
And savaged the faith of those offered salvation.
Glorifying themselves in predictions that failed, (1)
Teaching double-faced visions to safeguard themselves.
"Trampling" anointed ones in Christ's congregations,
Exalting over the anointing and prerogative of God! (2)
After their morsels of glory now they are asked:
"What are these wounds [on your person]
between your hands?" And they shall reply:
"Those with which I was struck
in the house of my intense lovers." (3)
They are left with their bitter recriminations
and the "Little Scroll" for their denunciation. (4)
Exposing their "lying signs" the Lord will put
such wicked ones to death by the Spirit of his lips. (5)
They chose to take pleasure in unrighteousness, (6)
After peering into the perfect Law of God,
And went searching for souls to glorify them,
Rather than giving the glory solely to God.
They changed the "times and Law" of God, (7)
To increase their nation of street preachers,
And so shall become like the "mire of streets",
And the prophesied "object of astonishment". (8)

In many JW publications including the book 'The Truth That Leads To Eternal Life' they have made many attempts to predict the year when the world would end. Since their inception this sect has predicted that it would occur in 1874, 1878, 1910, 1914, 1918, 1925, 1975 and 1984.

Through the apostate teachings and false predictions in their publications JWs have attempted to change the "times and Law" of God. (Dan 7:25). Joseph Rutherford a past leader of the JW sect was "publicly showing himself to be a god" when he declared to an assembly of JWs that all those present were anointed! (2 Thess 2:4).
