The getting, the making,
The creation of toil.
The haste, the waste,
The covering with soil.
The money, the bag,
The holes that it finds.
The raging, the ageing,
The delusion of minds,
For those striving after wind.The dreamer, the schemer,
The ways of him!
The lies, the cries,
The corrupting with sin.
The deceived, the aggrieved,
Over sinners who die,
The dealers, the stealers,
The perjurers who lie.
Are those striving after wind.
