What will unrepentant men do when
God Rules? ⁽¹⁾

When righteous justice envelops our
Very lives with a pure Spirit "upon the air"? ⁽²⁾

He prophesied: nations will become angry, ^(2B)
Stubborn, like mules.

The Lord's indignation like a virtuous "woman" ⁽³⁾
Will cast religious prostitutes into their final lair.

Righteous servants will then rejoice,
When together their holy lives begin. ⁽⁴⁾

Contemptuous enemies ⁽⁵⁾ He will expose,
Awakened by His Spirit, in hearts and minds.

The guilty will run from His lionlike justice, ⁽⁶⁾
To be met by a "bear" for all unrepented sin.

"All who in their lifetime failed to acknowledge me in spite of all the good things I had given them, all who disdained my law while freedom still was theirs, who scornfully dismissed the thought of penitence while the way was still open -- all these will have to learn the truth through torments after death."
