Spiritual persons with accurate knowledge
of the Kingdom of God can indeed examine all things. They are able to identify
falsehood in those attempting to worship God with apostasy, simply by witnessing their daily conduct, listening to them,
and by perceiving their apostate teachings. (1 Cor 2:15) (Heb 5:14) (1 John 2:27 NWT). As there is only
One True God, and one established set of healthful spiritual teachings, spirit backwardness can easily be identified in those who after reading
our spiritual work described in
The Opened "Little Scroll" find it necessary to ask:
"What is your
religion?" They usually ask this question
to excuse themselves from any further discussion, spiritual development, or persecution
suffered by true Christians to escape Spirit
correction and spiritual readjustment. (John 15:18-21 NEB). This kind of
curiosity is worthless. And as we were recently asked this question yet again
(by email), I decided to write the following poem:
For Those Who Ask:
"What Is Your Religion?" |

If we were to answer with, 'The same religion as Christ',
They might think us sarcastic, evasive or too clever.
The Christian answer is: 'WORKS OF FAITH!'

Labelling oneself with a title is not the answer.There are many
religions, but only One Lord.

By their fruitage you will know His people,
(3)
Not by "outlandish fashions"
or large numbers,
(4)
Nor how high is built a lofty church steeple.
Our Father gives a Spirit place and blessed name,
To us. He calls us: "Hephzibah"
(5)
And our Spirit relationship "Beulah"
(Wedded).
As a heavenly "flock" on earth, we see it
from afar.
"Jerusalem": Those fulfilling the
new covenant of God,
Are not a land of violence, or even a physical place.
But hidden in a "wilderness" during the
"time and
times and half a time" away from the
"serpent's" face.
